SPAN
is the Single Parent Action Network, which was set up in 1990 as a grassroots,
multi-cultural voluntary organisation run by single parents working to promote
positive images of one parent families. Through national campaigning,
particularly against poverty and discrimination, supporting self-help groups
and networking information, SPAN
works to challenge problems faced by single parent families.
